Our name, "iuvdal.no," is a playful Norwegian word pun. It translates to "in Uvdal," highlighting that we are located right here in the beautiful region in Norway called Uvdal. It’s one of our ways to showcase our connection to this special place.

We’ve been renting out our mountain chalets for over 10 years now, so we’re starting to gather some serious experience.

We’ve just completed a rebranding with a new website. Our Chalets look better than they ever did, and they’re getting better and better every year! Our chalets are well-maintained and continuously improved. It’s a labor of love that’s never truly finished. Each season, we add something new—an extra bathroom, another bedroom, or some luxurious amenities.

Our chalets are spacious, with the largest offering 7 to 11 bedrooms. There’s plenty of room for everyone! Or take Chalet Idyll, which isn’t as large but still feels roomy. With 4 bedrooms and 2 living rooms, it’s ideal for groups, thanks to its clever layout.

We’ve restored and modernized every chalet with great care, ensuring they’re both practical and inviting. Having multiple living areas is important to us, so guests can enjoy social time but also retreat to smaller, quieter spaces when they wish. If it’s been a while since your last visit, we promise there have been plenty of positive changes!

We’ve put a lot of heart into our facilities, with luxurious touches throughout. You’ll find Jacuzzies, multiple bathrooms, and in most chalets, double refrigerators and dishwashers—so there’s never a need to wait.

We’ve crafted our own unique style, and guest feedback shows it’s appreciated. We strive to preserve the charm of what’s already here while keeping everything updated to match today’s trends. This approach blends tradition with modern comforts, and we’re very proud of it.

Renting out chalets is a lifestyle for us. We’re not a large company, though many think we are. We go above and beyond to ensure our guests are happy and want to return year after year. And many of them do.
